Our mission focuses on the well-being of every student. We are committed to serving nourishing and delicious meals that support students' growth, development and academic success. Our team ensures access to a variety of balanced and nutritious food options that energize the body and mind.
Sherman Indian High School is always cooking up new ideas to elevate our services.
We have joined the Indigenous Food Hub Initiative and strive to cook Indigenous meals twice a month with the goal of serving Indigenous meals universally. We take immense pride in our unwavering commitment to food safety, quality and sustainability.
High school nutritional services offer students access to balanced, healthy meals. They adhere to federal guidelines and incorporate nutrition education to promote lifelong healthy eating habits. Services include breakfast and lunch options tailored to meet dietary needs and appeal to students’ tastes.

- Meal Provision:
Providing breakfast, lunch and snack options that comply with USDA nutrition standards, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein and low-fat dairy.
- Weekend Meals:
Providing early-morning snacks to dorm residents for those who prefer eating before brunch.

Serving breakfast and lunch with a variety of delicious, home-style cooked meals for students to choose from.
- Dinner Provision:
Dinner includes meals designed to reflect a home-cooked experience. The salad bar features fresh vegetables, proteins and fruit, while the soup station is perfect for cold days. Fresh fruits are available daily. Dessert options like ice cream and baked goods complement meals.
