Sherman Indian High School’s AVID Seniors marked an extraordinary milestone this month as 16 students signed their Letters of Intent in April, committing to the colleges and universities they will attend this fall. Together, the cohort earned an impressive 95 college acceptances and secured more than one million dollars in scholarships and financial aid. The school also celebrated its two co‑valedictorians admitted to the University of California, Berkeley, and Stanford University.

The seniors were further honored at the RIMS AVID Senior Recognition Ceremony, joining more than 3,600 AVID graduates from across the region. The event celebrated years of hard work, perseverance, and leadership. We are immensely proud of these students and look forward to all they will accomplish in the future!
